ICD & Associates Employees Co-operative
Credit Union was established on December 11, 2001,
by change of name from Mechala Group Employees Co-op
Credit Union Ltd.
The credit union carries the registration date of
its predecessor United Motors Employees Co-operative
Credit Union Limited which was registered on April
10, 1953.
A credit union is a financial cooperative. It is
operated by a group of people who provide for themselves
a convenient and safe means of accessing money regularly
and of obtaining credit and other financial services
at competitive rates of interest.
