ICD & Associates Employees Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. was established on December 11, 2001, by change of name from Mechala Group Employees Co-op Credit Union Ltd.

The credit union carried the registration date of its predecessor United Motors Employees Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. which was registered on April 10, 1953.

MAIN FUNCTIONS AND SERVICES

1. To provide a system for developing thrift and accumulating savings by encouraging its members to save convenient amounts regularly.
2. To provide loans to its members exclusively for provident and productive purposes at competitive rates of interest.
3. To provide fixed deposit facilities for our members at competitive rates of interest.
4. To provide insurance coverage through Family Indemnity Plan (FIP).
5. To provide premium financing for members.
6. To provide convenient savings for members' children through our S.W.I.F.T. program.

ELIGIBILITY FOR MEMBERSHIP

Membership is limited to persons living within or working within a 25 km radius or 15 miles of the credit union office, by completing membership form along with salary authorization deduction letter.
